A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Sloane!
I'm a graphic design student at the University of Missouri, originally from Decatur, Illinois. Creativity has always been a huge part of my life, and I've never been someone who could stick to just one way of making art. I've always enjoyed experimenting, trying new things, and figuring out how to turn an idea in my head into something real.
What I love most about design is that there's always something new to learn or a different way to approach a problem. I'm especially drawn to bold colors, unexpected details, and work that has a little personality. I enjoy pushing myself creatively while still making sure there's meaning and intention behind what I create.
Through my education, professional experience, and personal projects, I've developed an even greater appreciation for the entire creative process. I'm constantly finding new inspiration, exploring different approaches, and growing into the kind of designer I want to become.
Creative Capabilities
My experience covers a variety of design disciplines, including branding and visual identity, logo development, typography, editorial layouts, digital illustration, and marketing design. I'm proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, and Procreate, with experience creating both digital content and production-ready artwork.
During my internship at Dynagraphics, I gained practical experience designing for real clients and working with commercial printing processes, including signage, large-format graphics, prepress preparation, and finishing. I also have experience in photography, photo editing, custom apparel design, embroidery, and small business branding and marketing.
These skills allow me to take on projects at different stages, from initial concepts and visual development to preparing final designs for digital or physical production.
